When I first saw your work. I was so pleased and impressed. I started to research more of this person I wanted to hire to do my modeling ports and eventually learn from. I finally met you at the night of NYE when you hosted this awesome event. What a great event to get to know a person in real life.
My boyfriend was saying “Come on you have to approach him!” I said “No, because he’s too busy and he doesn’t have time! haha!” I was.. at most intimidated by you because you were way up there. I told myself finally, “Okay, it’s now or never and I may only have this one chance!” So, finally. I did. I tapped you on your shoulder and introduced myself and you shook my hand and gave me a hug. Literally, at the moment.. I saw the light and I felt so relieved that I didn’t make a fool out of myself. You were so welcoming and such an awesome host that you made me and my boyfriend feel so welcome to your party. We had the best and awesome night ever in HAWAII!! This was the first we felt at home since San Diego. You were so personable with us like you’ve known us before.
In result. Thank you so much for welcoming us and making us feel welcome and for being you. I don’t understand how people can be so hateful or think negative when all you want is to make peace and love. Matter of fact is you’re kind and I will always look up to you for the great career you have of fine art and a great mentor. Much thank you to you Russell. You did touch our lives by that short moment and until today you continue to do that.
